The ground rules for using LandAndSee — in plain language, not legal boilerplate. By creating an account, you're agreeing to these.
What LandAndSee is
LandAndSee is a place for growers, farmers, and makers to find each other — through profiles, trade listings, a marketplace, projects, and events. We connect people. We're not a party to any trade, sale, or agreement you make with someone else through the site.
Your account
You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your login details to yourself. You need to be at least 16 to use LandAndSee. Give us real information — your listings and profile should be honest and accurate.
What you post
You keep ownership of anything you post — photos, descriptions, messages. By posting it, you're giving LandAndSee permission to show it to other users as part of running the site. Don't post anything you don't have the rights to, anything illegal, or anything intended to mislead, harass, or scam another user.
Trades and transactions are between you and them
Any trade, sale, or arrangement you make with another user is solely between the two of you. LandAndSee doesn't inspect listings, verify what's offered, handle payment, or guarantee the outcome of any exchange. Use your judgement, meet safely, and check what you're getting before you commit to anything.
Reporting and enforcement
If someone reports you, or we otherwise find you've broken these terms, we can remove content or suspend or close your account. We try to review reports fairly and by hand rather than automatically, but the decision is ours to make.
No guarantees
LandAndSee is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and useful, but we can't guarantee it'll always be available, error-free, or suited to a particular purpose, and we're not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from dealings with other users.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. If we make a significant change, we'll do our best to let you know. Continuing to use LandAndSee after a change means you accept the update.
